In this 4th edition we pay homage to God the Father, a Loving Father who is waiting for all his children to return to Him.
🌟He knows you perfectly, He knows your wonderful talents but also your sufferings and struggles. That's why, in the new 2023 planner, we have a special section on this topic: your current struggle. We're going to delve into that disordered affection, that attachment that we're finding so hard to let go of. We're going to ask God the Father, in that daily personal encounter with Him, to help us—in our own way—overcome that inclination that keeps us from being free.
It might be a bad attitude, an attachment to possessions, or a desire to be the center of attention; it could be disordered eating or drinking; suddenly you're addicted to gambling or superstition; perhaps you easily hold grudges or are overcome by envy; suddenly your attachment is pride or gossip, or perhaps laziness, discouragement, or lust. Whatever your current attachment may be, all these things are distracting and, moreover, frustrating when you fall back into them. You lose focus, they waste time, but above all, they prevent you from focusing on seeking God's will, which leads us to true fulfillment in our lives.
🌟If we focus on improving and put all our efforts into that one thing, perhaps 2023 will be the year you and I triumph. We will place ourselves in the hands of that Good Father who never fails. Let us say to Him: Illumina, Domine, vultum tuum super nos. “Shine your face upon us, O Lord.”
